What are you Worth?

Posted in Getting Started on May 3rd, 2010

The most accurate measure of our worth is how much we value ourselves and how we treat ourselves..

Most people want to be treated with respect, love and care from other people and base their own sense of value on this. However, as our self concept shapes our thoughts and behaviours and ultimately our destiny…it is even more important to treat ourselves with the same.

When we want to be appreciated, we are relying on someone to be in appreciataion. If we are waiting around for this, and it doesn’t happen, then unworthiness comes in as a pattern…this pattern could have begun to manifest itself as kids when we were counting on our parents, teachers and peers approval to feel good enough and worthy.

Moreover, as the result of our upbringing, combined with myths and misunderstandings, many people feel that they do not deserve good things to happen to them. As we are growing up, we are often told that we are being selfish if we set our own personal happiness as a key measure of our success. We are often told that our job in life is to make other people happy, and if we get a little bit of personal happiness on the way, we should consider ourselves lucky.

This has confused people for centuries, yet they eventually discover that you cannot give away something that you do not have. You cannot give away money that you don’t have. You cannot give away love that you don’t have. And you cannot give away happiness if you don’t have happiness of your own. In fact, the
most wonderful thing you can do to, and for, the most important people in your life, is to be a genuinely happy person and value yourself!

As a result, people around you will feel happy and value you…

So, the next time you find yourself in a situation where you feel unworthy, unloved or unappreciated
Stop….and say to yourself

I choose to value myself and I am worthy of all the ease, joy and glory in life

The more you say it , the more you will believe it and the better your self worth will get!

Good Luck wih this one…

Until Next Time,

Love , Laugh and BE HAPPY!!!

What are you filling your vacuum with ?

Posted in Getting Started on April 16th, 2010

Have you ever noticed that nature always fills a vacuum? For example, empty land isnt empty for very long as the universe throws in some weeds to fill it.

So we can either grow weeds in our mind’s garden or carefully sow the seeds of joy, happiness and abundance…nuture it and enjoy the results in our life.

So, making sure that we give our minds something constructive to work on would result in driven and focused action.

It can even be useful to examine what you want to bring into your life and then ensure that there’s room for it. For example, if you want to buy new clothes for the summer it would be a good idea to clear out old clothes to create space for new ones.

Some cultures even believe that giving money away to charity creates expanded space that will be filled with even more than has been given…. this is equivalent to creating a deliberate vacuum.

So, If you want new experiences like more joy, more happiness and more abundance to show up in your reality.. you need to make space in life.

A good way of doing that could be the use of following statement several times a day..

I choose to let go of my past and allow more joy, more happiness and abundance to show up and fill my space

Good luck with this,

Until Next Time,

Love, Laugh and BE HAPPY!!

Do you Criticize yourself?

Posted in Getting Started on April 8th, 2010

Self Criticism is one of the most common behaviour people engage in and spend a major part of their lives telling themselves that they are “not good enough” or how “stupid ” they have been and keep reinforcing the very behaviour they have been telling themselves off about!

The most interesting thing about this behaviour is that once we look deep inside of this pattern of criticism we realise that the way we were treated when we were very little is usually the way we treat ourselves now.

The adults around kids set patterns of being angry , upset or scared when things don’t go the way they expected and kids learn to apply the same emotions on themselves even when they themselves become adults.

So, the person we are scolding for being silly , not good enough or lazy is a young old child inside us that been listening to all these labels all life and as soon as something similiar happens that voice pops up again to criticize us…

Now, the good news is that once we become aware of that criticizing voice inside our head we can say that voice

Thankyou for sharing your opinion , I CHOOSE TO BE KIND TO MYSELF

…And BE Kind to yourself.. as whatever was done in the past is done and now we have the opportunity to treat ourselves the way we want to be treated.

So , Treat yourself with Acceptance , Kindness and Love ! as that is what that little child wants to reach its highest potential!

Good Luck…

Until Next Time,

Love ,Laugh and BE HAPPY

what does your language say ?

Posted in Getting Started on March 13th, 2010

Our language is said to be the gateway of our minds…

What we are thinking is expressed by what we are saying most of the time !

Language spoken or written is consistently shaping our lives.

It determines how we feel .. it can pull us down, help us uplift, wound us deeply or heal our hearts. The language we use have the power to break confidences, build life long relations or start wars.

So,
What does your Language say ?

The words you speak can have a profound effect on the people they reach.

Are you uplifting yourself and others by using positive language ?

Are you encouraging your children, your spouse, your friend or even the stranger you pass on the street?

Or are you tearing down your own family with words of criticism, bitterness and judgment?

Are you causing the destruction of your self-esteem by speaking ill suited words over yourself, your health and prosperity?

Most people use the language that doesn’t serve them and keep them in the stuck state…

So, Next time you find your self using the language that doesn’t serve you ask yourself

WHAT IS IT THAT I REALLY WANT?

If i dont want to be broke .. what do i want to be?
If i dont want to be ill …. what do i want to be?
and so on so forth..

Asking for what you want and not what you dont want would shift things and help focus on the positive side of things…

Good Luck with this …

Until next time,
LOVE , LAUGH AND BE HAPPY

Are you in control of your thoughts?

Posted in Getting Started on February 11th, 2010

The term ” Control” is all around us…

Control your ANGER, Control your FINANCES, Control your WEIGHT , control your RELATIONSHIP even control your thoughts… control , control control….

Thought comes and thought goes , sometimes a thought comes that makes cringe and other thoughts make us HAPPY!!

So, how do we keep the thoughts that make us happy?

control creates resistence towards that emotions and the more we try to control things the more they seem to go out of control.

The key is to Direct the mind towards the desired state or thought…

And one very powerful and simple way to direct our mind is play a game called CHANGE

So, whener you have a thought thats making you sad , upset or any emotion that doesnt serve you..say to yourself CHANGE and think of something different in that instant .. and if a different thought comes up which is not serving you too.. say CHANGE again.. keep saying it until you come up with a thought you want to think and keep on thinking similiar thoughts..

In effect what you are doing is directing your mind towards the thoughts you want to think instead of trying to control the thoughts..

and its important to direct our thoughts because we all know this

THINGS YOU THINK ABOUT ; YOU BRING ABOUT :)

So, get the hang of this simple yet powerful word and get the results you want!!

Until next time,

Love , Laugh and BE HAPPY
